If you're an affiliate marketer or network marketer, and you are not making money with professionally made sales funnels, the reason is simple: you're not sending enough quality traffic to your sales funnel. And the obvious solution to your problem is getting traffic!

When it comes to traffic, spending a little money upfront will save you lots of time and hard work.  The so called "free traffic" does not work because most people quit long before they get any traction with it. So, unless you have lots a time on your hands and don't mind working months on end creating lots of unique, interesting content and posting it on as many free sites as you can, then wait for traffic to trickle in... I recommend you get started right away.

Sending solo ads to someone else's email lists (aka "email marketing") is the easiest way to get traffic quickly and on any budget. Here is step by step guide:

Step 1. Create, or copy and customize, one of the affiliate swipe email ads provided with the product you're trying to promote.

Step 2. Decide on the day and time you want your ad to run.

Step 3. Make a list of reputable email solo ad vendors (aka email list owners). Check out their references, if possible. Read reviews on the responsiveness of their mailing lists. Make sure their niche is the right fit for your offer. Look for lists that have BUYERS on them. This will often be indicated in testimonials and feedback, such as provided in solo ad buyer / seller marketplaces like Udimi.com or ezine marketplace like Directory Of Ezines.

Step 4. Contact 4 to 10 solo ad vendors on your list and ask the following questions:

Q1. Verify that your offer is right for their subscribers.

Q2. Have they ran ads for the same product in the recent past.

Q3. How much they would charge, say, for 50 or 100 "fresh" clicks (from visitors who've not recently seen the same offer).

Q4. If they can run the ad on your scheduled day and time.

Step 5. Choose the vendor you want to work with.

Step 6. Give your ad to the vendor with directions for the number of clicks you're looking to get on the link included in your email message.

Step 7. Pay the solo ad vendor to run your solo ad on the scheduled time. As soon as the vendor sends your email ad to their email list, you'll start seeing traffic. If traffic from that mailing list generates enough sales to at least cover your initial expense, buy more clicks and run again to a larger portion of the same list. If not, move on to another vendor and try again. The point is that you test vendor's mailing list by doing smaller "runs", then buy a bigger exposure if it performs well.

Start keeping a record of which email solo ads (vendors/lists) perform best for you. Ultimately you'll build your own "hot list" of best performing solo ad providers that you can count on to get traffic any time you need it.

Keep in mind, you can very often negotiate and bargain hunt for great deals, such as double mailings (on two separate days), etc. Just ask for discount.  The worst that people can say is "no" and you've risked absolutely nothing.

As mentioned, you'll find ready made email swipes (ads) in your affiliate member area. You can customize these ads however you like. Again, all you need to do to schedule a solo ad is give your email ad (which is nothing more than a simple prewritten email message!) to the solo ad vendor that you're running your ad with, and schedule a day for the ad to run. The vendor will have either a form through which you can submit your email ad (just copy and paste it right in), or some other way to submit your ad - by email, Facebook message, or whatever.

There's just no excuse not to run a solo ad. It's incredibly easy, and it will produce LEADS for you, which can then turn into commissions and paid subscriptions. And now, drum roll please... here is the list of Top 10 Solo Ad Sources, with the Directory of Ezines topping that list as the most cost effective solution for beginners.
